Learning Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of the Research Master's Thesis, students will be able to demonstrate: 1) research competence, independence and initiative, 2) advanced skills for independent scientific inquiry and critical thinking. 3) independent interpretation and analysis of research results; 4) advanced skills in writing and presenting scientific papers; 5) advanced skills in communication and the public presentation of their scientific work; 6) the ability to conduct research following proper laboratory practices.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The Research Master’s Thesis involves the direct involvement of students in the research activities of the faculty members of the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Study Programme. They will be asked to explore new scientific research questions, design experiments, collect data, and draw scientific conclusions. Through the Master’s Thesis Project students develop independent thinking and become able to contribute substantially to new scientific knowledge in the field of food hygiene and biotechnology. At the end of their project, students will be asked to prepare a detailed thesis and present their findings to the public, demonstrating their scientific expertise and communication skills.
