Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will acquire the necessary knowledge regarding the different categories of food hazards and the factors that affect food contamination, the causal factors, the epidemiologically related foods and the symptoms of foodborne diseases and food poisoning, as well as the preventive measures to control, eliminate or reduce them to acceptable levels for food safety.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course "Biological, chemical and physical hazards in food" addresses the main risks encountered from the consumption of food, based on their composition and content, the analysis of their dynamics and the effects on human health.
