Student Assessment
Description
The course is assessed through: a. Group project/presentation of an exercise program (20%) – students work in groups to design and publicly present an exercise program, and b. Practical (individual) examination covering the semester’s course content (Formative and Summative) (80%). Assessment Criteria Group Presentation/Project Anatomical Understanding Exercise Program Design Applicability Presentation & Time Management Practical Examination Muscle palpation, description of muscle function, and demonstration of a specific exercise Explanation and demonstration of joint movements Design and implementation of an exercise program (based on principles of kinesiology) Identification and correction of exercise execution errors These criteria are outlined in the course guide and published on the course’s eLearning platform.
Student Assessment methods
  • Oral Exams (Formative, Summative)
  • Clinical Examination of Patient (Summative)
  • Performance / Staging (Formative, Summative)
