Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims to understand and utilize the basic principles and practices of intercultural communication on the part of the students, in order for them to become capable of responding to the intercultural communication (internal and external) challenges of the modern and culturally pluralistic environment. The complexity of modern societies and their structures imposes an understanding of the "other" as a constitutive element of inclusion and coexistence. The management of otherness and intercultural awareness, through monitoring the transformation of society, is one of the most basic demands for avoiding issues that arise from our inability to approach the "foreign", the different. In addition, the student is introduced to the methodology of human resource management and is taught the basic principles of administrative effectiveness in multicultural environments, through a process of creating an intercultural environment and modifying attitudes and stereotypical perceptions.
