Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will:
- Analyze B1 and B2-level audiovisual material, identifying and comprehending both fundamental and advanced vocabulary in contemporary German-speaking topics (through videos).
- Enrich their linguistic repertoire by becoming familiar with idiomatic expressions, proverbs, and German-language songs.
- Produce written comments, interviews, and original song lyrics in German, effectively incorporating newly acquired vocabulary with clarity and creativity.
- Enhance their listening comprehension through the systematic processing of German-language videos, developing comprehension strategies.
- Connect linguistic knowledge with cultural and social discourse by reflecting on current affairs in German-speaking countries.
- Develop autonomy in language learning by applying active listening strategies and expanding their vocabulary through authentic materials.

Student Assessment
Description
The prerequisite for participation in the written exams in June and September (50% of the final grade) is the weekly submission of assignments, the presentation of work (30% of the final grade), and a successful intermediate exam (20% of the final grade). Additional prerequisites: 1. Successful participation in the course requires achieving at least half of the possible points in all three parts of the assessment. 2. Another prerequisite for participation in the exams is the submission of all weekly assignments. The assignments are not graded, but they may be rejected if they do not meet the requirements of the respective course.
