Learning Outcomes
This course presents geographical features such as river systems, karst formations, glaciers which are basic elements of Physical Geography. The course consists of chapters that refer to the development of fluvial systems and the forms resulting from their action (eg delta formation). There is also an analysis of how specific formations (e.g. underground caves) arise from the dissolution of carbonate rocks, a presentation of glaciers and the forms that have resulted from their action and a connection is made with climate changes in the past until today. Finally, the effects of human intervention on all these surface features are presented.
