Basic knowledge of differential and integral calculus of one and multiple variables.
Learning Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to: - Apply complex analysis theorems to compute real integrals.- - Analyze functions using Fourier series and Fourier transforms. - Understand and utilize the delta function and its properties. - Apply Fourier analysis to electric circuits and wave equations.

Course Content (Syllabus)
- Expansion of a function into a series of functions – Fourier series - Fourier transforms - Application of Fourier analysis to electric circuits and the solution of the wave equation - Delta function: definition and properties - Analytic functions – Cauchy's theorems and the Residue Theorem – Evaluation of real integrals
