To be familiar with terms of Byzantine architecture and painting as well as with the periodisation of Byzantine art.

- they will be able to understand the logic of the iconographic programs of the athonite Catholica - To read the axonometric plans of programs -To have a complete picture of athonite painting (monumental, icons and manuscripts) - To recognize the different phases of painting
