Course Content (Syllabus)
The course aims first to explore views on education as expressed in the work of important representatives of the modern philosophical tradition (Rousseau, Kant, Hegel). Second, we will focus on the contemporary debate, examining different approaches to the philosophy of education (John Dewey, Matthew Lipman, Michel Tozzi, Krassimir Stojanov, etc.) in order to analyze the basic philosophical assumptions, methods, and goals set forth in the contemporary debate on education.
