Upon successful completion of the course, the student will have

• gained the capacity to distinguish different currents, tendencies and movements as well as stylistic characteristics and devices of the Contemporary Theatre

Course Content (Syllabus)
At the end of the 20th century, the status of hybridism in literature expands and consolidates. Elements of this mixing of genres which takes dimensions often labeled “dangerous” in theater have already been detected in 1970. More precisely, it is the dramaturgy after 1970 that constitutes the central part of this course. In addition, this course, through a thematic and morphological approach to the texts, is designed to record the evolution of the theatrical writing which in the recent years is being developed in the axis of the dialogue of genres and especially of the dramatic/epic dialogue.
