Description
Important Notice: Regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in written assignments for history/theory courses in the Film Department.According to the guidelines of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), as outlined on the website https://www.lib.auth.gr/el/ai_tools, "the use of AI tools for the creation of assignments that have been assigned to you for evaluation is not permitted." Furthermore, copying sentences, phrases, paragraphs, or entire texts, or even paraphrasing them, "constitutes plagiarism" and is treated as such. For the film history and theory courses (both mandatory and elective), the faculty members of the School of Film Department use the Turnitin tool to detect potential plagiarism of all forms (including AI from all current and future tools). Any assignment that includes more than 20% AI content, according to Turnitin, will not be graded higher than 4/10.
