Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to: • become familiar with the writing of the individual sections of a research paper • understand good practices in presenting the research results of a study • become familiar with the design of specific categories of studies through the example of systematic reviews and meta-analyses • practise writing an abstract

- Overview of the research procedure: The research question - Structure of the research article - Writting the research article: Introduction, Methodology, Results, Conversation - Report guidelines/ Reference manager software - Preparation for submission to a scientific journal: exercises - Basic principals for abstract submission to a conference and oral presentation - good practices - Peer review process - Introduction to systematic review & meta-analysis

Description
The evaluation of students will be carried out through: • The preparation of a written assignment (30% participation in the final grade) • Their performance in the exams with multiple choice questions (70% participation in the final grade) A pass mark in the examinations of the courses of the MSc is considered to be the higher or equal to six (6).
