Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to: • become familiar with change management tactics in the context of improving quality of health care and patient safety • understand the concept of economic evaluation and the use of health economics tools regarding the allocation of available resources, as well as its contribution to decision-making • practice with the necessary tools to design practices to ensure and improve individual dimensions of quality in healthcare, with emphasis on patient safety

Description
The evaluation of students will be carried out through: • The preparation of a written assignment (40% participation in the final grade) • Their performance in the exams with multiple choice questions (60% participation in the final grade) A pass mark in the examinations for the courses of the MSc is considered to be the higher or equal to six (6).
