General Prerequisites
Students from the 6th semester onwards. Successful examination in ΙΑΕ 101 = ΙΑΕ 151 is required.
Learning Outcomes
"Upon completion of the course students are expected to: Know the basic principles of the science of history and historical methodology. They know the technique of writing scientific papers and organization of individual or group projects (projects) as part of the teaching of History in Education. Recognize and utilizing the sources of history (written, figurative material, etc.) for writing works with historical subjects and the teaching of history in secondary schools. " "The aim of the tuition is to familiarize students with the sources of Byzantine history, modern literature and methods of historical research (analysis and interpretation of the information derived from the source material, modern literature search and the exploitation of the findings of contemporary research) . Furthermore, taught the technique for the synthesis and presentation of a scientific work. Finally, the students practice the way of historical teaching material based on primary sources. " Upon successful completion of the course, students are expected to: - know in detail the general and specific objectives of teaching the course in History in secondary education according to modern standards of teaching of the course. - Have become familiar with the methodology of teaching history in secondary schools, exploiting ICT and focusing on promoting experiential learning and to organize a syllabus. - Know the technical organization of individual or group projects (projects) as part of the teaching of history. - They recognize and exploit the sources of history (written, figurative material, etc.) during the teaching of history in secondary education. - They know the systems and the arrangements for evaluation of the course. "

Description
The first three lectures introduce the students to the topic and to scientific research on primary sources. From the fourth course onwards he students present and discuss their topics with the instructor and their colleagues.

Δεν απαιτείται η μελέτη όλης της επισυναπτόμενης ενδεικτικής βιβλιογραφίας ούτε βέβαια αυτή από μόνη της επαρκεί για τη σύνταξη των εργασιών. Οι φοιτητές θα εργασθούν κατά κύριο λόγο με βάση το πρωτογενές υλικό των επιλεγμένων πηγών και τη συναφή με αυτές βιβλιογραφία.
