Course Content (Syllabus)
Modern Greek literary texts (poems, short stories, novels, essays) will be studied, in which a sport plays a key role, especially football. The texts, both in terms of content and form, will be integrated into the cultural and historical contexts of the era in which they were written and made public, but also of the present era. Literary texts will be approached, which have a positive approach to sports, and football in particular, but also texts that articulate an objection to the football and its social ramifications.
