Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students will: 1) be able to discover information from large databases 2) be able to identify patterns and information using clustering/categorization algorithms 3) define and describe the principles of statistics, machine learning and database systems 4) be able to convert information and patterns into human-understandable structures.

Course Content (Syllabus)
Teaching the main data mining algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning, correlation rules), data pre-processing and study of examples of analysis in each case.
