Course Content (Syllabus)
The literary work of Manolis Anagnostakis was fundamental both for Modern Greek Poetry and for Modern Greek Essayism and Criticism, as well as important for the formation of intellectual life in the second half of the 20th century. Anagnostakis' most basic poetic compositions will be studied, as well as his texts belonging to the literary genres of literary criticism, testimony, and the essay on political and cultural issues. Literary criticism texts will also be examined in relation to his multifaceted work.
