Course Content (Syllabus)
Physical and chemical properties of sea-water (salinity, temperature, density, optical properties). Dynamic oceanography (currents, waves, tides). Geomorphology and geological processes on the ocean floor, the continental margins, the continental shelf, the continental slope and the coastal zone. Description of instruments for measuring oceanographic parameters and methods for the
investigation of submarine mineral raw material.
