Course Content (Syllabus)
Introduction - The significant role of Inventory management and Logistics. Introduction to Supply Chain Management. Forecasting Methods. Deterministic systems of inventory management: (a) the case of known and constant demand and (b) the case of known and unconstant. Stochastic systems of inventory management: seasonable and innovative products (Newsboy problem), consumable products / multiple periods / (Q,R) systems. Periodic review systems, (s, S) policies.
