Course Content (Syllabus)
Safety rules in the school laboratory. Organization and classification of reagents, hardware and laboratory. Organization of the presentation of the experiment. Objectives, process description, comments and discussion of results. Analysis and evaluation of results of experimental procedures. Assessment of achievement of the objectives of the experiment. The demonstration experiment. Demonstrations in microscale using overhead projector. Levels of difficulty, complexity and precision of observations for experiments focusing at different students’ ages and background. Interdisciplinary Chemistry experiments and their relation to everyday chemistry. Experiments controlled by computer. (interconnection hardware, software, protocols). Simulation of experiments. Control of experiments remotely via network.
