Learning Outcomes
•Have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of subjects in the interdisciplinary domain, which is based on their general university-level training in the courses of materials synthesis, inorganic chemistry, polymer chemistry and, while supported by advanced scientific textbooks, also includes views arising from modern developments in the cutting edge of their interdisciplinary field of knowledge. •They are able to use the knowledge and understanding they have acquired, in a way that reflects a professional approach to research work and they have abilities that are typically demonstrated by developing and supporting arguments and solving problem approaches within their field of knowledge. •They have the ability to gather and interpret relevant evidence (usually within the subject area) to formulate judgments that include reflection on relevant social, scientific or ethical issues. • They have the ability to use spectroscopic and structural techniques of a broad scientific background for the design, synthesis and physicochemical characterization of new compounds with methods of modern technology (nanoscience), further correlating the molecular structure with their biological activity. •They are able to communicate information, ideas, problems and solutions to both specialist and non-specialist audiences. • They have developed those knowledge acquisition skills, which they need to continue their studies in an academic and/or industrial setting with a high degree of autonomy.
General Competences
  • Apply knowledge in practice
  • Retrieve, analyse and synthesise data and information, with the use of necessary technologies
  • Make decisions
  • Work autonomously
  • Work in teams
  • Work in an interdisciplinary team
  • Generate new research ideas
  • Respect natural environment
  • Be critical and self-critical
