Course Content (Syllabus)
Franz Kafka is a famous German writer of the 20th century who is well-known in Greece. Many of his works have been translated into Greek, and some, like 'The Metamorphosis,' are frequently re-translated. This seminar has two main goals: to introduce people to Kafka's works and to focus on the translation challenges presented by his texts. It's a combination of literary analysis and a translation workshop. To participate, you must attend regularly, present orally, and submit a translation portfolio.
