Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Clarify basic concepts relating with the ecological issues and the role of religion in Second Modernity.
- Approach critical social issues in the modern world in an interdisciplinary way involving its social, theologicaland cultural aspects.
- Understand and analyze the Christian Ethics argumentation on the Creation and Ecology.

Course Content (Syllabus)
The course will critically examine the aspects, causes and analytical categories of issues linked to the environmental problems and the role of religion in the relating issues. Particular emphasis will be given to presenting the key positions of the Orthodox Christian tradition on these issues, as well as on contemporary social discource.
