Course Content (Syllabus)
In the context of this unit, students will acquire knowledge and deepen their understanding of cognitive, social, emotional, and personality development, from the middle childhood to the silver years. The course, mechanisms and outcomes of development will be discussed in relation to core theoretical frameworks, current methodological approaches, research evidence, as well as in relation to contexts of development (family, school, workplace, sociocultural environment).
