- describe the fundamental concepts and principles of EU criminal law;
- recognise the EU legal instruments concerning criminal law in the field of economic crime;
- understand the effects of the EU legal instruments and their differences to traditional international law instruments (particularly Council of Europe conventions);
- analyse the core problematic aspects of the European legislation on economic criminal law.
